Many people don’t know what to expect during their first float experience. What should I bring? What do you do? Below are a few tips and pointers to help ease your mind.
First of all, all you need to bring is yourself. We provide the shower, towels, shampoo, and conditioner- anything you could possibly think of. We recommend floating without a bathing suit to get the optimal benefits (no distractions of your clothing touching your body). The door will be shut though, so if you do decide to wear your bathing suit, no one will know. Have a small meal or snack before your appointment but avoid caffeine for three or so hours before your float time. Don’t shave for 24 hours beforehand or the Epsom salts may irritate your skin. If you wear contacts, you may want to remove them before you float. **If so, please bring a contact case and contact solution. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment so you can relax in the lobby for a few minutes.
Please note: We have a 12 hour cancellation policy. Should you need to cancel your appointment less than 12 hours prior to its start time, or if you miss the appointment, a fee of 50% of the full price of service will be charged to you. In case of emergency or an otherwise extenuating circumstance, the fee will not be charged.
