I know what you’re thinking- haven’t all the teams always had a chiropractor on staff? The answer is NO. As of 2002 only 33% of the NFL teams had a chiropractor on staff. As concussions have increased, length of careers has increased, the desire to lessen time away because of an injury, and the desire to PREVENT injuries has increased— so has the desire for Chiropractic care. Below are some trivia questions about chiropractic in the NFL.

I know what you’re thinking… myself and my family don’t play football we just enjoy watching the Superbowl. In our corrective chiropractic office in Carol Stream, we work with what we call corporate athletes. People who sit at a computer/desk all day, people who are lifting packages constantly or doing repetitive movements. Overtime, this repetition can have an impact on the structure of our nervous system. On a daily basis, we help people with chronic headaches, numbness in the hands/fingers, neck pain, low back pain, and even sciatica. We also give tips as to what our patients can be doing at work to reduce their symptoms. Whether that be safe lifting techniques or even proper ergonomics for sitting at a computer or at a phone all day.
